Easy Philly Cheese Steak Sliders... with just 5 simple ingredients you're on your way to a delicious and quick meal your family will love!
Ingredients
EASY PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SLIDERS
  • 1- 12oz package (12 rolls) Hawaiian Sweet Rolls ( I used L'Oven Fresh)
  • 1- 15oz package (6 steaks) Philly Beef Steaks (I used Steak-Eze)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • salt & pepper to taste (or your favorite steak/burger seasoning)
  • 6 slices mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • mayonnaise (optional)
  • mustard & dill pickle (optional) *see note above recipe
Instructions
EASY PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SLIDERS
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a sheet pan with foil. Spray the foil lightly with non-stick spray.
  2. Slice the rolls in half, lengthwise (don't break them apart), spread both sides with mayonnaise if you are using, and set the bottom part of the rolls on the sheet pan. Set aside.
  3. In a large saute pan over medium high heat, cook the onions until they're a light golden color. Season with a little salt and pepper if you like. Transfer the cooked onions to a plate or a bowl and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, cook the Philly steaks. Drain off any fat and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spread the cooked steak evenly over the bottom of the rolls. Then put the onions over the steak.
  6. Next place the cheese slices over the sliders and put the pan of sliders in a preheated oven for 5 - 10 minutes or until the cheese is nice and melted.
  7. Once the cheese has melted, place the tops of the rolls on the sliders and put them back in the oven for another 5 minutes just to warm the tops of the rolls.
  8. Cut the rolls into individual sliders and enjoy!
