Labor Day is behind us and I’ve had my first pumpkin spiced latte of the season so it’s A-OK to talk about A Few of My Favorite Fall Desserts.
A Few of My Favorite Fall Desserts
We can’t talk about fall desserts and not talk about pumpkin. Everything from a classic pumpkin pie to pumpkin snickerdoodles… it’s all good to me. Here are just a few of the pumpkin desserts my family and I enjoy.
Pumpkin
I am pretty much not allowed to show up to our family’s Thanksgiving dinner without a pan of these.
Pumpkin Gooey Bars – Sweet Tea & Saving Grace
I have yet to tackle a pumpkin roll, but my friend Besty has you covered there. This is definitely on my baking bucket list.
Classic Pumpkin Roll – Java Cupcake
Pumpkin. Spiced. Latte… that pretty much says it all!
Pumpkin Spice Latte Cupcakes – The Red Eye Baker
I’ve made these before and they are the bomb delish!
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cupcakes – Java Cupcake
Even in the fall it’s good to have an easy, no-bake dessert and this has all the fall flavors without having to turn on the oven.
Pumpkin Cheesecake Trifle – Sweet Tea & Saving Grace
Next up is all the apple things. I’m very much looking forward to going apple picking with my family again this year. There’s just something about that smell of warm apples and cinnamon… heaven!
Apple
This is one of those labor of love recipes, but SO worth it!
Tree Hugger Apple Cupcakes – JavaCupcake
OK, so pie is just not my jam, but this post might help me perfect my pie game.
Perfect Apple Pie – Once Upon a Chef
Is there anything better than a fresh fried fritter? They are a bit dangerous… you have one and before you know it you’ve eaten 15.
Apple Fritters – The Pioneer Woman
So simple and amazing… I can close my eyes and imagine how wonderful my kitchen would be smelling if these were in the oven now.
Baked Apples – Natasha’s Kitchen
I remember coming home after school when I was a kid and walking into the kitchen to find that my mom had baked that day. Szarlotka was definitely a family favorite.
Szarlotka (Polish Apple Pie) – Polish Housewife
Not everything falls into the pumpkin or apple category. Here are a few more things that still remind me of cooler days and favorite sweaters, but don’t have pumpkins or apples in them at all. 😉
More Fall Favorites
My husband’s family is German and he loves Pflaumenkuchen. My mom often made plum cake as well, so it’s something that we both grew up with and this just takes us back to our childhood.
German Plum Cake – JavaCupcake
Mmmmm pecans! These blondies are seriously yummy!
Pecan Praline Blondies – The Domestic Rebel
Cinnamon, coffee, and cake… a perfect pairing.
Cinnamon Crumb Coffee Cake – Baked by an Introvert
Goodness gracious! This looks so good and not to mention gorgeous. #cakegoals
Maple Pear Cake – The Cake Blog
Cooler nights means there are opportunities for bon fires and S’mores making. Get your S’mores fix without the need to light any fires. 😉
S’mores Bars – Cooking Classy
This was a fun for my first ever round up post. I hope that you guys enjoyed it too!
